I'm obviously becoming very original in my blog titles!
Anyways, here's a peek at our February which brought us many lovely surprises including a visit from Grandpa, Grandma and Abby and our first real Portland snow!!
| It was so fun to have company while Bryon was gone on a ski trip to Red Mountain with friends from Portland. Here we are doing some experiments at the Science Museum. |
| The following week snow arrived, along with very cold temperatures and strong winds. Kai was not deterred from riding his bike to school, although I think everyone else thought we were a little crazy :) |
| Our front yard and driveway have a tiny hill which proved fun for sledding on Bryon's skim board. Our neighbour was home from school too, so Kai had fun playing with her. |
| Our kiddie pool blew down and filled with snow which was also fun for playing in/leaping into with friends :) |
| While Bryon was home on Saturday we went to the golf course down the street (along with what seemed like the rest of the neighborhood!) and skied, sledded and hung out with friends. So fun! And, such perfect, dry, fluffy snow. |
| Daddy made for a great chairlift substitute. |
| Friends! |
| Dads and sons |
| Sadly, Bryon had to spend a good part of the snowy weekend at work and just watch the snow from his window. |
| Even Bear Bear got in on some sledding. |
| Meeting friends in the snow. |
| The snow melted a few days later, but we had more fun to look forward to like a 2 year old friend's birthday party. |
| For some reason Blogger keeps flipping this photo on me. But, anyways...here is one of the cute Valentines Kai made for his classmates. |
| There was a "Special Persons Tea" at Kai's preschool for Valentine's Day. Kai invited daddy of course, and made this beautiful ornament for him. |
| Everyone got to enjoy lots of yummy treats. |
| We've also loved watching the Olympics and trying to get Kai to cheer for our respective countries. Go Canada!! |
| After the snow was gone, it was time to clean up our yard. |
