In addition to the biggest event of June...Anders' birth...we kept busy with a few other things, you know, like packing, preparing to move, saying sad goodbyes to great friends, and cramming in a few last minute Oregon adventures. Not busy at all ;) As usual, I forgot/didn't have time to take pictures of everything, but here's what I managed to glean from our iPhones and camera...
| Happy Father's Day to this guy! So thankful for him as both a husband and father. As one last farewell to Oregon and one of his ski buddies, he went on a Father's Day ski trip to Mt. Adams and per my request, came home safely :) |
| Nothing like a hot cup of freshly brewed coffee on your way up the mountain...well, if you like coffee that is :) |
| Saying goodbye to Grandpa and Grandma who were a huge help after Anders first arrived. Thankfully, they returned just 2 weeks later to help us finish packing up and move! |
| Had to pick some raspberries before we left the Pacific Northwest. |
Anders took his first bottle like a champ, so mommy could go out with some girlfriends.
Good job buddy! |
| Just doing what he does best :) |
| The ever-attentive older brother, building a sunshade for Anders. |
| One last farewell to Jamison Square and friends from Life Group. |
| More farewells with neighborhood friends at Wellington Park. |
The neighborhood kids. What a good-looking bunch, and how they've all grown since we met them two years ago! |
| Kai built a little rock garden in our backyard as a farewell project. |
| One last fort sleepover with daddy in our cute little house. |
| One last Portland trail ride. |
| And one last visit to Pips (thanks Danielle and Michael for the gift card!!). What better combo than freshly made donuts, vintage books and homemade chai? |
Portland, you and your lovely people are missed!!
