A Sunday afternoon bike ride on the Poudre Trail ended with two flat tires, and thus a squishy trailer ride back to the car.

The first in his class to be crowned a member of the 100s club.  That means being able to count to 100 by 1s, 2s, 5s and 10s, as well as write to 100 and identify all numbers to 100.

He was very sad though when he found out that being a member of this club didn't involve attending meetings etc. :)

Reading time.  One attentive listener, and one distractor. 

I was making cookies with Anders and I only had to turn away for a couple of seconds for this to happen...

In mid-November we woke up to a winter wonderland!  Anders was enthralled.

The boys begged to go outside as soon as they woke up and saw the snow.

Anders wasn't too sure about it at first.

But he recovered quickly once he discovered the wonders of the sled.

Big helper.  This guy loves the snow like his daddy.

That afternoon we all went sledding.

And, Anders even got to ski, because how could Bryon resist? ;)

I'm glad we live just a couple of minutes from this hill.  We've logged a lot of hours there over the past few months!

More cousin time!  We're glad our little nephew is a great world traveler so that we get to see him so much.

Dr. Scott, the paleontologist!  For his birthday Kai decided that instead of having a birthday party, he wanted to go to the DMNS and see a special presentation by Dr. Scott.

He was pretty thrilled.

The snow disappeared and we got back to riding.  This is one of my favourite parks in Greeley.

Daddy has a rather unfair advantage in this game of tag.

Kai's first time bowling and he loved it.

Up in Estes park for Thanksgiving.  Anders and I got to hang out for a day while big brother and daddy went skiing.

It's rather funny to me that at 17 months he was already wearing Kai's old 3T jacket.

We built a jump that gave us some pretty big air, and some pretty big wipe outs as well!

Even Gramma wanted to try out the jump with Kai.

Some pre-Thanksgiving dinner coloring.

I made everyone go outside to take some pictures after Thanksgiving dinner.  Kai was feeling goofy, Anders was grumpy and everyone was really cold.  Needless to say, we didn't last too long.

And as soon as Thanksgiving was over and we were home again, we pulled out the Christmas boxes.
