January 2016

Cousin Daniel came to visit for New Year's.

Kai sure loves his cousin.
We recently saw Daniel again, and Kai said to him, "Whenever I see you, it makes me so happy and proud to be a cousin".  Cute!

This is how we get to the park in the winter.

We made this Nativity set several years ago (as you can tell by Kai's painting skills!).  It may not be fancy but it's still one of my favourite Christmas decorations and every year it stays up long past Christmas.

Kai's Christmas party in December was canceled due to a snow day, so they had the party in January.  He loved having little brother there to party with.

Making Olaf :)

Can't get enough of skiing.

Sledding and hot chocolate on the UNC soccer fields.

Our friends from Hawaii came to visit.  It was so good to see them again after way too many years.

The kids all had a great time together too.  This is the best picture we could get of the crazies. :)
Wish we lived closer!

On my birthday we decided to spend the day in Denver.  Unfortunately, Anders threw up all over himself and the car shortly after we left.  Poor guy.

They always beg to use the car shopping cart.  I rarely say yes, but this time I did.
It was a wild ride.

19 month old temper tantrum.
Sometimes it's complete chaos when I'm trying to make dinner.  Other times I look over from the kitchen and see things like this happening. Sweet brothers.

Ski boot races.
They create the funniest activities together.
Anders' first day on the slopes!

Exhausted!

While Bryon took Anders skiing, Kai and I attended a "Build a Lego Mars Rover" at our library.

Running the rover over his Lego Mars surface.
An early morning ski run for Bryon.
