March started off with a work trip to San Francisco for Bryon...and I got to tag along while the kids stayed in Greeley with Papa and Gramma.
| The view from our hotel room. We got to stay in a hotel right on top of Nob Hill which was beautiful, but everywhere we went, we had to go downhill...and back up again. |
| It poured rain part of the time we were in San Francisco, but we still ventured out to explore a bit of the city. I was so glad my rain boots and rain coat made the trip with me! |
Leaving the city and heading north.
| I loved being back by the ocean. Colorado is the farthest I've ever lived from the ocean and I miss it a lot! |
| Anchor Bay was a short walk from our vacation rental. So beautiful and serene. |
| The next day we drove further north to Mendocino. |
| Searching for driftwood to bring home. |
| The trails were like rivers! |
| Such a cool rock! |
| Playing baseball with driftwood and rocks - one of our favourite beach activities. |
| The brothers' first ski trip together was almost too cute for me to handle. |
| Kai was a good sport to hang out on the bunny hill with Anders. |
| Old/big/brave enough to ride the chairlift by himself! |
Palm Sunday. See Kai and Anders in the back on the left? Kai was really scared to go up on stage, but when Anders joined him he decided to give it a try. They were so cute, and took great care of each other up there. Thankful for brothers! |
| Washing daddy's car. |
| We've had the same sponsor child for almost 10 years. Now it's awesome to see Kai be able to write his own letters to James. |
| Powder day with my boy. So fun!! |
| Anders joined us for a few runs and then fell fast asleep. |
| We spent Easter in Estes Park with Bryon's parents. |
| Kai was a great mentor on the Easter egg hunt :) |
| Slightly confused about what was happening. |
| Poor Anders got sick and spent most of the morning snuggling with me on the couch. |
| Unfortunately, a small soccer ball got knocked down the heating vent. Bryon and his dad used the camera on their phone to display the vent onto the TV, and somehow managed to suck the soccer ball out with a vacuum. Hilarious! It was like watching a surgery. |
| There's a mini-golf course in Estes that's open every day of the year. It's not nearly as fancy as other courses, but we love it and affectionately call it "Ghetto Golf" :) |
| Grandpa and Grandma arrived at the end of the month for a visit during Kai's spring break. |
| Of course, Grandma planned more Easter egg hunts for the boys. |
