A very happy and proud mommy and daddy and Grandpa and Grandma Gamache were there to welcome Kai into the world.
Here is a little look at our lives, starting as a family of two living in Kailua, HI, to a family of three living first in Sandpoint, ID then Portland, OR, to a family of four living in Greeley, CO. What an adventure it is!

Kai Oliver Budensiek's First Moments
Kai Oliver Budensiek was born at 5:17 p.m. on Tuesday, October 20th. He weighed 8 lb 10 oz. and was 21 inches long....a big, healthy and ever so cute baby boy!
I'd arrived at the hospital with my parents around 2:45 p.m., to discover that I was most definitely in labor! Bryon was at his first day of work with Brian C. Jensen CPA, and was in Coeur D'Alene picking up his new desk. He rushed back as soon as he heard that we were headed to the hospital, and arrived around 3:15. Kai arrived just 2 hours later! What an amazing moment in our lives. We are now a family of three and we couldn't be happier.

More August Adventures
August
Cooling off in the Snoqualmie River while Johnny, Emily and Bryon fished.

Rhea and Jenn came to visit us in Seattle on their way to California.
Hike to Twin Falls.

Candice and Ryan stopped by to see us in Seattle on their way to California. Since we had missed their wedding in Hawaii the previous week, we celebrated in fine style at the Seatac airport, complete with wedding favor sunglasses!
