July 2015

Vacation is over and school has started, but we have lots of memories to relive from this past summer.
Here's a bit of what July looked like for us.

Working hard at his summer workbook from school.

Lots of backyard sprinkler fun.

Cheering on their friends at t-ball.

These two.

Hide and Seek.

Slip and slide fun with friends.

4th of July parade-watching and potluck at our church.

Loving the parade, obviously ;)

Camping at Turquoise Lake, and learning the fine art of firewood chopping.

The weather was chilly, but we still had fun on the beach.

Dinos and sand volcanoes.

Yummy blueberry pancakes made by Bryon and his assistant chef.  Notice the take-out coffee cup in the background - a sure sign of a very early morning rising by Mr. Anders and a subsequent car ride with daddy :)

We'll miss our summer picnics in the front yard.

Small group camping trip in Estes Park.

Plotting an attack on the parents :)

The many faces of Anders :)

Pool night with friends.
Bryon was reprimanded by the lifeguard several times which is ironic considering that he life-guarded at this pool in highschool!

Anders, living it up in the kiddie pool with his buddies.

Poudre River fun.

This boy is in constant motion.

Mountain biking with daddy and Papa.

Anders Turns One!

Tomorrow Kai starts Kindergarten.  That is so hard for me to believe.  It sounds so cliche, but where has the time gone?

And, when did sweet baby Anders grow up into a mischievous, cuddly one year old?!

Here's the birthday boy in all of his glory!

Birthday morning pancakes with apple sauce.

Followed by a donut date with daddy and Kai.

Nothing is much better (or more wild!) than a birthday bath with brother.

Playtime with brother.

Favorite park activities with Kai and the cousins.

Pre-dinner playtime.

Gift-opening lessons from big brother.

Thrilled to open a birthday card from Kai.

On the weekend we had a family pool party at Gramma and Papa's condo.

Cousin Noah and Papa.

Aunty Jenni and Anna

Cousin Andrew

So excited to see a cupcake headed his way!

A thunderstorm meant lots of puddles to play in.

Happy Birthday sweet boy!  We love your spunk, your screams, your belly laughs, your clapping hands, your snuggles, your slobbery kisses and your hugs.  Life wouldn't be nearly the same without you.  We're looking forward to more joy, love, adventures and learning as we enter year two!
