Our friend, Brian, took these pictures of Kai for us this past weekend. I didn't want posed portraits, or pictures with my child sitting in a pumpkin with butterfly wings on. I just wanted them to be really natural and to capture him doing what he does best - playing! I absolutely love how they turned out. Here's a little sampling.

Wow, I love them!!! These are such great photos...they really capture his movement and curiosity. Happy celebration to you three for surviving and reaching your 1 year mark with great success as parents and a wonderful happy and smart boy!
