This year, I (Bryon) took four days off in the middle of tax season to rejuvenate/recuperate from the craziness of work. My college friends, Joe, Scot and Reuben came out to join me for a three day ski trip north of the border. The first day we went to Red Mountain in Rossland, BC, the second day we ski toured in Nelson and the third day we ski toured on Kootenay pass before coming back here to Sandpoint.

Reuben's first time ski-touring!
View of Whitewater ski area and Mt. Ymir. We toured up from the road.
Scot's excited for his run down.
Reuben enjoying his favorite show (Ellen) while wearing Christy's sunglasses.
Hiking near the top of Kootenay Pass.
Reuben in a little pain from an aching knee.
Joe getting ready to push Reuben over.
Me, traversing the ridge.
Joe and Scot getting ready to head down.
Scot enjoying the ride.
Am I short, or are my friends just tall? End of the run down Kootenay Pass.
