Last Week (and a half) of August

August is over, and although it's sad to think that summer is coming to an end, I am so thankful for all of the great memories we've made over these past few months.  We had lots of fun outings this week, and we also had two new little friends born!  Although little Rhys and Sawyer seem tiny now, I'm sure they'll be keeping up with Kai in no time.

We mistakenly thought Kai would love a trip to the fair!  Haha!  Our poor little guy was terrified of the real live pigs and cows.  I guess we need to expose him to country life more often.

The goats were less terrifying.

And, the crepes were definitely not terrifying!

A sucker made everything better!

Bryon's boss let us use their cabin in Montana for the weekend.

While there, we watched boat races on the lake which Kai found quite entertaining.

Walking from our cabin to the beach for a post-nap swim.

Climbing lesson with daddy.

Bryon decided to have a trial camping trip in our backyard with Kai.

Kai was so excited to sleep in the tent and he dragged all of his blankets and animals down to his new bed.  But when he was still awake and hyper at 10:00, we decided that his crib was sounding better and better and so we moved him back upstairs.  Maybe next time!

For our weekly Wednesday surprise with Bryon we went huckleberry picking at Schweitzer.

Such beautiful views.

We finished the evening off with a picnic.

Our little climber.
