Ahhh, 'tis the peaceful hour and a half at the Budensiek house called nap-time, so I figured why not try and finish off this April post.
The highlight of April was definitely having my brother O.J. (Oliver James...Kai's middle name comes from him) visit us while he was back in North America from his home in Southeast Asia.
Don't visit us unless you want to be put to work! Kidding, sort of. ;) On his first morning here, O.J. volunteered to help with our backyard jungle while Kai was at preschool and Anders was napping. |
| Kai apparently takes after us and put O.J. right to work as well. Pirate-ship building in the basement. |
| Anders thinks that (pretty much) anything Kai does with him is hysterical. |
| Like I said, no rest for the weary. O.J. was a great sport and went along with all of Kai's many, many plans. |
| Ready, set... |
| An evening hike to Horsetooth Falls. |
| Goodbyes are hard, especially when it will likely be a few years before we get to see O.J. again. |
| Thankfully we got to come home to a birthday party for one of Anders' friends, which helped us not dwell too much on O.J.'s departure. |
| This sweet boy loves his snuggles. |
| Sick again...boo! |
| Haircut!! Oops, got it a bit shorter than I meant to. |
