Mother's Day couldn't really get any better, unless it became Mother's Week! Yes, my wonderful husband and son once again spoiled me with a whole week of goodness leading up to actual Mother's Day. And, on top of a great week of celebrations, Bryon gave me clues leading up to my big gift (see below).
I love being a mom, and not just because I am spoiled with Mother's Week! I love slobbery kisses and cuddly hugs, mischievious looks, the sound of "mama", giggles and belly laughs together, daily adventures to the park, reading the same book over and over and him never tiring of it, continual amazement over the simplest things, indeciferable and deciferable singing and jabbering, and the biggest love I've ever had for such a little thing.
It's amazing and it's a joy.

But, they led to the surprise that we'll be staying at a beautiful cabin on Slocan Lake in New Denver, BC in June (ironically, on Father's Day weekend!).
