Another Visit from Grandpa and Grandma

My parents visit us often, but the last time they were here was at the end of March which meant we hadn't seen them for 2 1/2 months!  That's the longest we've ever gone without seeing them since Kai was born, but thanks to Skype he hadn't forgotten who they were.  As soon as they arrived he latched onto them, and Bryon and I were pretty much ignored for the rest of the week!  We had a lot of fun with "Nana" and "Papa" and also got lots of projects done around the house which is always a good feeling.  Kai was very sad when they left and stood at the window saying, "Papa, car, all gone", before throwing himself on the floor and crying.  Thankfully they're coming back in just one month!

"Papa" was Kai's favourite person all week long.  Kai was always wanting "up" and to be held and cuddled by Papa, which is a very rare wish for Kai.

My parents' friends, Theo and Hilde, came to visit and Kai fell in love yet again.  He was snuggling, feeding them snacks and overall acting plain old charming :)

Our first project of the week was building a mini picnic table for Kai.  Now I just need to work on being decisive and pick a paint colour.

It should be finished in July when my parents return for another visit.  We have the flooring ordered and trim to put up, then it'll be ready for company.
