September 2015

September...adjusting to school, meeting our newest nephew, celebrating 9 years of marriage and Bryon's 33rd birthday, and enjoying the end of hot season :)

Aunty Lisa, Uncle Seth and Daniel were home for Labor Day.
Kai loved meeting his little cousin.

As did Anders.

This is the face Bryon made when I asked him how it would be having two babies that close together! (They're 1 year apart)

Bridge building in RMNP.

Reading homework from school.

A lovely day to spend on the Thompson River.

And having friends there made it even better.

Facepaint leftover from the church picnic.

Helping daddy build a ski rack for the garage.

Ready to be stained.

He also built what he calls a "boltasaurus" :)

They love reuniting after school.

Nerf battle birthday party for a friend.  I think the dads may have had more fun than the kids :)

I got Kai's Halloween costume on Ebay a couple of months early and he wore it practically non-stop until Halloween :)

Bryon went to a men's retreat in Canada for a couple of days and Kai missed him so much that he surrounded himself with pictures of Bryon at the breakfast table.

I thought I was handling things pretty well without Bryon around...until I ended up at the park with two different shoes on.  :)

The pack rat attempting to clean out one of his stashes. Oh my!

Bryon made us a lovely breakfast of crepes on our anniversary morning.

That night we played soccer together in the front yard, and marveled at how our lives have changed in nine years!

The following night we went to Ft. Collins to celebrate with some takeout Thai food at Horsetooth Reservoir, followed by dessert in Old Town.

Nine years!

This guy is a busy one!  Always strutting around.

Goal!
And another one!

It was a good game for Kai :)

School carnival, and another dino-face.

Hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park with friends.

Dr. Kai to the rescue with his first aid kit.

We got home in time to watch the blood moon.

American day at school.

We're a 2 car family again, with this 25 year old beauty.  We told Kai he that if he was lucky, he could drive it in about 10 years :)
